The best ideas come to those who shower

Have you ever noticed how your best, most inspiring ideas for content creation come to you at the most inconvenient times?

For example, some of my best ideas for emails, webinars and courses, have come to me when I'm in the middle of showering. Or, when I'm moments away from falling into a deep, peaceful sleep.

Which might not seem like a big issue, if you assume that you can just write it down later…right?

You assume that you'll remember every bit of inspiration that has just come to you, and that you'll be able to capture it perfectly at a more convenient time.

No problemo…

Until that is, you sit down at your laptop a few days later, and find that the inspiration has faded away, and that same burst of creativity that you felt when you were in the shower…is nowhere to be found.

And this is why I will always stop and capture whatever inspiration comes to me, whenever it hits.

Even if its super inconvenient.

Even if it means sitting up in bed, shaking off the sleep and capturing the inspiration into the notes app on my phone. Or, finishing up in the shower asap and grabbing my phone with wet hands in order to capture that shower inspiration.

So the obvious advice here, is to always, always capture inspiration when it strikes.

But if you look closer…what these two examples have in common, is that inspiration came to me, when my mind was naturally quiet.
