Rich Coaches believe making money is easy.
Struggling Coaches believe making money is hard.
It's as simple as that.
The belief that making money is easy didn't come about because money magically started showing up in the Rich Coach's bank account, with zero effort on their part.
It happens the other way around:
Belief -> Action -> Result
If you believe making money is easy, it will be. You'll find paths of action that are easy to follow, set up systems that make wealth inevitable for you with very little effort, and ultimately, you'll actually implement those systems – because they don't require so much hard work.
On the flip side, if you believe making money is hard, you'll naturally take actions that are ‘harder' in order to make money, which inevitably leads to less total value being created and as a result, less money flowing your way.
I'm no stranger to this middle class struggling coach mentality. In fact, I still occasionally get caught out by it.
Recently, I was at a Mastermind with a group of multi-six-figure business owners who are scaling up to 7-figures. I tapped into the collective wisdom of the group & the coach who runs 3x multi-seven-figure businesses.
Here's what was on my mind:
Should I completely pack my schedule with 1-to-1 Introductory Breakthrough Coaching sessions, in order to scale up to 7-figures?
In theory, I could.
I have a (relatively) massive following, I'm great at delivering these ‘Breakthrough' sessions and I have the systems required to book 1-2 introductory coaching sessions every single day, if I want.
It would only require 4 sales of my £5K Spiritual “Switch Mastermind” per week to reach the infamous £1,000,000 Mark.
That's do-able.
10 Breakthrough Sessions per week with a 40% conversion rate equals 4 sales per week… for 50 weeks straight.
I could totally make a Million that way. Not to mention all the sales from high-end Platinum Clients and lower-end offers along the way.
You want to know what stopped me in my tracks…?
Every. Single. Mastermind. Member.
And the 7-Figure Coach.
It is theoretically possible to make a million in sales all by yourself. It's also extremely difficult and I'd be dreading looking at my calendar each morning. It would also take 2-3 hours per day – time I could be spending in my genius zone of coaching, writing and teaching. (Ya know, the stuff people actually pay me for!)
Plus, I could get there with much more ease, flow and grace by simply having one or 2 of the dozens of coaches I've trained up over the years pick up some of the slack.
In fact, there's a very good reason that in my “Never Ending Stream Of Clients” system, you always only have 3 Introductory Breakthrough Coaching sessions available in any given week. If you get ‘greedy' and try doing a lot more in one go, you'll probably burn out and if you do much less than 3, your clients will dry up after a while.
Three sessions a week is easy and do-able for anyone. It only takes 3-4 hours per week and it's actually quite fun in small doses like that. Plus it keeps you connected to your list and your tribe… and consistently leads to one new client per week.
How do you scale that up to One Million Dollars (with eye brow raised and pinky on lips like Dr. Evil from Austin Powers)…?
Simple.
Be a team player, spread the love and the money and get a couple of other coaches to take on some of the load of Intro-Sessions for you. I can keep 80% or more of the cash from each £5K sale while still giving very generous commission payments to the coaches on my team, without having to do all the hard work by myself.
Making money can be very, very easy.
